Iranian short film ‘Haunt’ is slated to vie at the Taos Shortz Film Fest in the US.

Siamak Kashef-Azar’s directorial experience is to represent Iran at the 2021 edition of the event alongside 11 other Iranian films.

‘Haunt’, made in 2019, is a 17-minute short film about a gambling addict named Reza. Without even knowing it, Reza loses something important during a game. When he comes back home, he looks for a way to escape.

Featuring Hamidreza Azarang and Bahar Mohammadpour, ‘Haunt’ made its debut screening at the 15th River's Edge Int’l Film Festival (reiff) in the US.

Being an outstanding cultural event in the US, The Taos Shortz Film Festival provides filmmakers with a venue to showcase their works, participate in workshops, panels, and network with fellow filmmakers, media companies, producers and distributors.

The 15th edition of the TSFF is scheduled for March 19-21, 2021 in New Mexico.
